* * * * * Wesley Church offers Logos [national org link], a structured non-denominational program, to all children and youth in the community, grades 1-12. The participants learn about the Christian faith through four segments: Bible study (provided by LOGOS lesson material), worship skills (all aspects of worship including music, prayer, praise, and sacraments), recreation (games designed to teach good sportsmanship, sharing, and having fun with others), and a meal (participants partake of good wholesome food [current menu] while sitting around a table with the same 'family' group including table parents and other children of varying ages. This teaches sharing, caring, table manners and responsibility.) Logos is an after school program on Wednesdays. A $45 fee per child per semester covers all expenses. For multi-child families, a discount of $5 per child is allowed. Some scholarships are available. Church van service is available for those needing rides. For information, contact Shirley Adams, Logos Director, or the church office (275-1556). Shawnee
