The purpose of Wesley's prayer ministry is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power will be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory.

| Don Dowhower Submitted by: Kim Dowhower | Matt's dad had broken his hip from a fall a couple of weeks ago. He was released yesterday from the hospital after having surgery. He is 80 years old and is also battling bone cancer which he was diagnosed with almost 2 years ago. The doctors decided not to treat him to prolong his life, only to keep him out of pain. He has already lived much longer than the doctors had anticipated. Our family would appreciate prayers for his rehabilitation regarding his hip and for comfort during his remaining days. | 10-01-2011 |
