Youth Minister: Tasha Casey-Loveless

Wesley Student Ministry is an exhilarating place for 6-12th graders to grow spiritually through a meaningful combination of Christian education and remarkable fellowship. Our mission is to extend the message of Christ to youth, assist them in their Christian journey, glorify God with our lives, love each other as family, and experience the joy of serving those in need.

Sunday Evening Youth

Every Sunday evening, the 6-12th grade students gather from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Youth Room for a time of fellowship and recreation. Activities range from playing volleyball to hearing guest speakers from our congregation and beyond. Each month we have at least one youth led Worship experience and one Mission opportunity.  Snack supper is provided. Unless noted otherwise, we always begin events in the youth room and end with dinner in the fellowship hall.  Every other month we have a Youth Parent Meeting before our Sunday evening time together.  On the opposite Sundays our Youth Council meets to plan upcoming events.

Sunday Morning Youth

We have a Sunday School option for 6-12th grade youth on Sunday mornings. This class takes place in the youth room, located at the north east corner of the church. Our lessons are derived from Scripture, focusing on how it applies to the youth culture of today. Class Time: 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday Youth Activities

We have Bible study from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for all 6-12th graders. During W.O.W. season, dinner is available before Bible Study from 5:45-6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  A $3 donation is encouraged.

Youth Snack Supper

Food is a vital part of students' lives, and we are always in need of Sunday night snack supper volunteers. If your family (or if you'd like to pair with another family) is interested in providing a light dinner for about 25 students on a Sunday at 5:30 p.m., please contact us. We provide all paper products and have plenty of cooking space.
